AGS Gives Back
At AGS, we aim to support an array of charities, both local and national, through the House system.
Each House has a Charity half-term during which a non-uniform day is held and a further charitable activity is completed. Over recent years these have been as: walk 100 miles in March, give it up for Cancer Research, send a rose (Valentine’s Day), Easter Egg Hamper raffle and send a candy cane.
During the 2025/26 House year, (Easter to Easter), we raised £7,875.68.
This year’s House charities are:

In addition, each House also undertakes an Outreach activity aiming to give back to others. These include a wide range of activities such as a litter pick, singing in local care homes, creating Christmas cards to accompany Meals on Wheels dishes, and helping at the Arden foodbank to name a few.
This last year, AGS had enjoyed developing a close relationship with Fortitude School in Alcester, creating sunflower growing kits and painting murals for the students. We look forward to further nurturing and growing this bond.
