Cooking For Life
Cooking for life is designed to develop your practical food skills.
- You need to make a note of the lunch time you are required to attend.
- Pair up with someone in your form who you would like to cook with. Then decide on your level of competence.
- You then need to select a recipe from the various grades to ensure you develop your skills.
- On the second session you should pick a more challenging recipe.
Remember the session is over a Monday lunchtime and during that time you will need to prepare, cook, wash up and possibly eat the dish you make (in under an hour!).
On the day you need to bring the ingredients in for your chosen recipe along with a container to put it in once it is made. Bring your ingredients up to the Food Technology department (in Spencer, first floor) so they can be stored safely. I will provide the equipment.
If you have any questions please come and find me.
Looking forward to seeing you develop your skills.
