Current vacancies 

Part-time SENCo (0.8 FTE - 4 days per week)

Start Date: September 2022 or January 2023 | subject to references and DBS clearance
Reports to: The Assistant Principal (Teaching and Learning)
Salary: MPS/UPS plus a TLR 2c (0.8 FTE)

Hours: 4 days per week must include Monday and Friday

This is a permanent, part-time contract (0.8 FTE)

We are looking to recruit a part-time SENCo from September 2022 or January 2023.  The successful candidate will be required to support the academic progress of SEN students by working in partnership with teachers, and to undertake the designated administrative tasks associated with the post.

QTS is an essential requirement for this role.  It is also essential that the appointed candidate holds, or is willing to work towards the NASenCo qualification.  You should have experience of teaching in a secondary school and be familiar with learning and intervention strategies which support SEND students to access all areas of the curriculum.  Experience of working closely with SEND students is an advantage, as is working within a SEND team, although not essential as training will be provided in school and externally, if necessary.

Part-time Cleaning Supervisor | Full role or Job Share: AM or PM shifts

Start Date: ASAP | subject to references and DBS clearance
Reports to: Site Manager
Salary: NJC Band C: spinal point 05

This is a permanent, part-time and term time only (+ 5 days) position, with the potential for a Job Share.      AM or PM shifts are available. 

Working pattern of 39 weeks per year: Term Time only (38 weeks), plus 5 days, to be worked in late August, prior to the school reopening after the summer holidays | 44.5 paid weeks per year. 

Pay and Conditions
Salary: NJC Grade C, spinal point 05 | Full time equivalent £19,650 per annum.

Full post: currently £15,863.28 per annum, and local government pension scheme.

Hours: 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 4:45am to 8:45am and 3:45pm to 6:45pm

Job Share AM shift: £6,798.55 per annum, and local government pension scheme.

Hours: 15 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 5am to 8am

Job Share PM shift: £9,064.73per annum, and local government pension scheme.

Hours: 20 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 3:45pm to 7:45pm

We are seeking to appoint a Cleaning Supervisor to act as a keyholder responsible for the security of the premises, and to supervise an established team of cleaners on a day-to-day basis, working under the management of the Site Manager. The successful applicant will also be responsible for performing cleaning duties within their own allocated area, as well as assisting the rest of the team to provide cover for any absent team members. 

Applicants must be reliable, motivated, and able to manage a team of cleaners to ensure high standards of cleaning are achieved throughout the school.

Casual Hours Cover Supervisor 

Start Date: May 2022 (or earlier) | subject to references and DBS clearance
Reports to: The Cover Coordinator
Salary: Unqualified Teacher pay scale: point 03, which currently equates to £23.22 per hour

This is a casual hours contract position

We are looking to recruit a number of Cover supervisors to join our established team.

The main role of a Cover Supervisor is to manage the classroom in the Teacher’s absence. The Head of Department/Teacher will provide all the materials and tools needed for the lesson ready for the Cover Supervisor to deliver. Although not actively teaching, it is important for a Cover Supervisor to have the skills and confidence needed to keep the class motivated and focused, so they can work on the activities set and prepared for them.

The role requires you to support students as they work through the lesson and to understand how to help them to complete tasks, where needed.
