    Teacher of English (MPS/UPS) (from September 2018)

    We are looking for an innovative and enthusiastic teacher committed to maintaining standards and achievement across all three key stages in English Language and English Literature.

    Teacher of Physics from September 2018 – MPS/UPS

    This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring, enthusiastic and forward thinking individual to work within this highly successful department.  You will join a very supportive team of colleagues who consistently deliver outstanding results. Our physics labs are superb!  There are significant opportunities for the teaching of A level. 

    This post would be equally suitable for an NQT or for a more experienced teacher and there is the potential for a significant amount of A level teaching for a suitable candidate.  There is a possibility that this position could be offered on a part time basis.  Please indicate in your application if you are interested in full or part time hours.

    Teacher of Music (full or part time) from September 2018 – MPS/UPS

    Music has a high profile at Alcester Grammar School.  It is taught to all years at Key Stage 3 and is a popular option at Key Stages 4 and 5 with a number of musically gifted students and an experienced team of peripatetic staff.  The department runs a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities including: an orchestra, string group, guitar group, wind band, soul band, jazz band, two choirs and a percussion group. This job could be offered as a full time post (including a day and a half of peripatetic music teaching) or as a part time (approx 0.7 FTE) position.  Please state clearly your preference in your application letter.
